Try Miradyne Software For Free.
We are proud to present 2 software packages for beta testing,
and we hope that you will help us by trying them out. They are free
to download, and you do not have to provide us with any information to
download them, unless you wish to be notified of updates. Each of these
packages will last until September.
DSI
PrintManager
The DSI PrintManager is a stand-alone Microsoft.Net
application that can be used to compose database reports, documents that
include images, and collages of images. In many ways it is similar to
Crystal Reports, but much easier to use. It has a base set of PrintElement
classes, but can be extended easily with many others, which can be developed
by any developer using the class libraries that comprise the application
(found in the Miradyne Component Libraries).

Miradyne Component Libraries
Complex
things are made up of lots of simple things. The
Microsoft .Net Platform is a gigantic toolbox of components that
can be assembled together in virtually any configuration, for virtually any
purpose. As such, many of them are small pieces, designed to be assembled
together to form complete components of various types. Because they are
highly configurable, assembling them together can be a daunting task. The
documentation for the Common Language Runtime Library is almost as large as
the Library of Congress!
Many times, we hear developers say, "All I need is ..." when referring to
some fairly common type of component. Yes, the small pieces are all there in
the Microsoft .Net Platform, but not all of the larger,
more specialized, yet commonly-used components are available. They must be
constructed by the individual developer.
Miradyne Software Components enhance the
Microsoft .Net Platform by providing ready-made, easy-to-use common
components and Controls. There are 10 assemblies in the Library, and
hundreds of classes, Controls, Utilities, and Tools that can be used in a
wide variety of applications. Almost all of these have been used in our
in-house projects, and they include tools for everything from Database
connectivity tools and Controls to TCP Networking (HTTP, FTP, SMTP), Imaging
(including TIFF support), Text, Printing Components and Controls, Geography,
Configuration, Logging, Multi-threaded Windows Services, and lots more. You
can read the Online Documentation
for more details.
